What materials do you use?
We employ a number of materials depending on the use of the prop, as many plastics have different properties. Most commonly, we use PLA (Polylactic Acid), a thermo-polymer made from renewable biomass; light and affordable, it is ideal for most use cases.

Where strength is needed, we use either ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) or PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), with additional options for carbon fiber-reinforced PLA. (CF-PLA)
What limitations are there for 3D printed models?
Mostly size - Currently, the largest size we offer for any single printed component is 10x10x10 inches; although several components can be combined to create a larger object.

3D printed components should not be used for any structural or safety-critical implementations.
How much does a model cost?
Every prop is different, depending on the size, material, and additional work required. Additional components, such as magnets, and bearings add extra complexity.
